A passionate advocate for small business and community service, Allison holds multiple degrees and certifications, serves on national industry boards, leads nonprofit and civic efforts, and has earned numerous awards recognizing her leadership and impact.

From Public Defender to Parole Board Chair, Joyette Holmes has broken barriers as the first female and African American to serve as Cobb County’s Chief Magistrate and District Attorney.

Joyette Holmes has been elected Chair of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles for FY 2026. Appointed by Gov. Kemp in 2024, she now also serves on the Board of the Department of Community Supervision.
