Charles Beirne
Charles Beirne currently serves as General Manager & CEO of The Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority which owns and operates the Cobb Convention Center (formerly known as The Cobb Galleria). Charles took over as CEO in December of 2025 and has over 25 years of venue management experience. Charles will share details of the currently ongoing expansion to the Cobb Convention Center which will result in an additional 13,000 square feet of indoor event space. This expansion is estimated to be completed in 2027, and given the Center’s proximity to Smyrna, the expansion will undoubtedly have an impact Smyrna’s businesses and economy. SBA looks forward to hearing from Charles and understanding how this expansion will impact Smyrna going forward.
