Commissioner Monique Sheffield has proudly served Cobb County’s District 4 since 2020, bringing nearly 25 years of local residency across Austell, Powder Springs, and Mableton. Her deep connection to the community drives her commitment to smart development, green space, and improved health and wellness.

A graduate of Leadership Cobb and multiple civic academies, she also holds a Certified County Commissioner designation from UGA’s Carl Vinson Institute. During her first term, she secured funding for key District 4 projects like the Austell Transportation Transfer Center, South Cobb Medical Center, and Chattahoochee Riverland Trail.

As a member of several national committees and Vice Chair in her first year, she continues to lead with fairness, equity, and a passion for empowering progress.
