Profile

I’m William Carvajal, an educator of 25 years and founder of OLA Language School and the OLA Foundation for Adult Education. We operate as a Social Enterprise in Smyrna, ensuring language is a bridge to opportunity rather than a barrier to success. Through our intertwined pillars, we serve as a state-vetted Adult Education provider offering free English classes and career services to prepare residents for the workforce, while simultaneously partnering with local businesses to solve expensive communication gaps. From specialized Language Credentials in Healthcare and Hospitality to our signature Retention Roadmap Workshops, we help businesses lead with respect and stop the "revolving door" of employee turnover. I look forward to partnering with my fellow SBA members to drive local growth through accessible education, workforce development, and impactful language and cultural training.
